Ordering from Canada

All duties and import taxes are included in this price. There is nothing to pay on delivery and the courier will not invoice you at the door. No. Orders to Canada ship delivered duty paid, which means customs duty and GST/HST are calculated and paid by us before the parcel crosses the border. There is no collect-on-delivery charge, no brokerage fee and no invoice from the courier. The price you pay at checkout is the whole price.

Standard shipping is CA$24.99 and arrives 3–5 business days after dispatch. Express is CA$49.99 and arrives 2–4 business days after dispatch. Standard is free on Canadian subtotals over CA$200, and express is free over CA$350.

Because a converted price moves with the exchange rate and a Canadian one does not. Our Canadian prices are set in Canadian dollars and stay put; they are not the US price multiplied by whatever the rate happened to be the day you loaded the page. They already include the duty and tax we prepay on your behalf.

UPS Worldwide Expedited for standard and DHL Express Worldwide for express. Both clear a prepaid customs entry cleanly. We deliberately do not use UPS Standard, which is cheaper on the rate sheet and then bills the recipient a brokerage fee at the door — that is the charge this store exists to not hand you.

In-stock orders leave our facility within one business day, with a 3:00 PM Eastern cutoff. From dispatch, standard is 3 to 5 business days and express is 2 to 4. We quote a range rather than a date because a customs examination can add a day and we are not willing to print a date we cannot keep.

Yes, all thirteen, including the territories. Remote postal codes can add a day or two to the courier's own final leg; that is transit, not customs, and tracking will show it.

Yes. Standard shipping is free over a Canadian subtotal we show in the cart, and express is free over a higher one. The thresholds are higher than the US store's because a Canadian parcel carries freight, a customs entry and the tax we prepay, and we would rather set an honest threshold than advertise free shipping we have to claw back in the price of the goods.

Report a damaged or incorrect shipment within 48 hours with photos and we will replace it. Lost parcels are covered by shipment protection on every order at no cost to you. A parcel held at customs for more than five business days: send us the order number and we take it up with the carrier, and we refund or reship anything that cannot be released.

Opened research compounds cannot be returned, in Canada as in the US, because we cannot verify storage or handling once a vial has left our control. Damaged, incorrect and undelivered orders are made good. If a return is ever agreed, do not ship it back without contacting us first — an unannounced return crossing the border generates a customs entry in your name, which is the one thing this store is set up to prevent.
