Ordering from Europe

The border questions, answered before you buy rather than after the parcel arrives.

All duties and import VAT are included in this price. There is nothing to pay on delivery and the courier will not invoice you at the door. No. Orders to Europe ship delivered duty paid, which means import VAT and any customs duty are calculated and paid by us before the parcel is released to you. There is no collect-on-delivery charge, no handling fee and no invoice from the courier. The price you pay at checkout is the whole price.
Standard shipping is €29.99 and arrives 4–7 business days after dispatch. Express is €49.99 and arrives 2–4 business days after dispatch. Standard is free on subtotals over €250, and express is free over €400.
Our European prices are set in euros and stay put, and they already include the import VAT and duty we prepay on your behalf. Our payment processor bills in US dollars, so at checkout the euro total is converted at a fixed rate and the exact US-dollar amount is shown before you pay. Your bank then converts that charge to your own currency at its own rate, and some cards add a foreign transaction fee.
All 27 EU member states, plus Switzerland. Every one of them is priced in euros on the same duties-included terms. Anywhere else in the world, including the United Kingdom and Norway, is served by our US store in US dollars.
UPS Worldwide Expedited for standard and DHL Express Worldwide for express. Both clear a prepaid customs entry cleanly, which is what keeps the courier from billing you at the door.
In-stock orders leave our facility within one business day, with a 3:00 PM Eastern cutoff. From dispatch, delivery times are the ranges shown at checkout. We quote a range rather than a date because a customs examination can add a day and we are not willing to print a date we cannot keep.
Yes. Standard shipping is free over a subtotal we show in the cart, and express is free over a higher one. They sit above the US store's thresholds because a European parcel carries freight, a customs entry and the VAT we prepay.
Report a damaged, defective or incorrectly fulfilled shipment to support@veridianbio.com within 72 hours of delivery, with the order number and photos, and we will reship or refund it as set out in the refund policy. Lost parcels are covered by shipment protection on every order at no cost to you. A parcel held at customs for more than five business days: send us the order number and we take it up with the carrier, and we refund or reship anything that cannot be released.
Opened research compounds cannot be returned, because we cannot verify storage or handling once a vial has left our control. Damaged, incorrect and undelivered orders are made good. If a return is ever agreed, do not ship it back without contacting us first: an unannounced return crossing the border generates a customs entry in your name.
These are reference materials sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research, and their regulatory status differs from one country to another. It is the purchaser's responsibility to confirm that a compound may lawfully be imported and held where they are, before ordering. We do not give regulatory advice and we do not represent that any compound is approved for any use in any European country.

Purity, certificates and research-use questions

Testing, certificates of analysis and our research-use-only policy are the same wherever an order ships, so they live on one page rather than two — duplicating them here would give Google two pages saying the same thing and give you nothing. Read the general FAQ (shared with the US store, prices there are in US dollars), or see shipping and customs for Europe for the full policy.
